Alex French is co-owner of Divine Feminine Fitness as well as a Master Certified Personal Trainer with over seven years of experience helping women build lasting strength and confidence. Her approach combines functional fitness, corrective exercise, and science-based programming designed specifically for women.
My Story
Hey, y'all, I'm Alex! Fitness has always been more than a job to me. It has been a calling, a passion, and a way to help women uncover the strength that's already inside them.

Growing up, I was often told I would never be able to build real strength. As a woman I was underestimated, overlooked, and even bullied -- made to feel like "less than." Those words and experiences planted a fire in me, a determination to prove that strength is not defined by size, gender, or anyone else's opinion.
​
That determination carried me into the USMC, where I pushed myself to show I could rise to every challenge. But in that pursuit, I injured my back as a result of overtraining--a mistake that could have ended my story. Instead, it became the turning point. That injury forced me to understand the body in a deeper way, to rebuild from the ground up, and to learn that true strength comes not only from muscle, but from resilience, patience, and self-belief.

This journey is what led me into fitness, not just as a career, but as a calling. I discovered a passion for helping women tap into their own power; to build strength that is functional, sustainable, and life-changing.

Now, as the co-owner of Divine Feminine Fitness, I carry that mission forward. This gym is more than a place to work out. It is a sanctuary for women who have ever been told they can't, who have ever felt small or unseen, and who are ready to step into the strongest version of themselves. Here, you are not only supported, but you are also celebrated!

Certified Fitness Trainer
It's no secret, fitness training has been proven to prevent disease, strengthen your health, and improve your confidence and outlook on life. As a certified fitness trainer, I'm deeply trained in everything from muscle mechanics to flexibility and cardiovascular dynamics. So if you want to live a stronger and more confident life, I've got the training and the expertise to help you every step of the way.
Body Building Specialist
When most individuals think about the sport of bodybuilding, images of big, dumb guys grunting and throwing weight around are often conjured up. This could not be further from the truth! Serious bodybuilders are part athlete, part scientist, and part artist. As a specialist in this area, I can provide training, recovery, motivational, and nutritional strategies to help you achieve maximal muscle grwoth and optimize physical appearance.
Corrective Exercise Specialist
Whether you sit for long periods of time, are a weekend warrior, or fall somewhere in-between, it is quite likely that you may have a movement deficiency that is causing suboptimal physical performance and increased physical pain. As a specialist certified in corrective exercise, I can perform movement assessments, make referrals to medical professionals where necessary, and incorporate appropriate strategies into your training program to help you correct movement dysfunctions and muscle imbalances. Ultimately, this will lead to improved physical performance and reduced physical pain.
Specialist in Strength & Conditioning
Until recently, most people believed that power athletes are born and not made. That has changed. Modern training techniques can make anybody faster, stronger, and more powerful. Athletes at all levels - from grade school to the NFL - can sharpen their competitive edge with the help of an expert trainer. As a certified specialist in this area, I can help you expand your body's capacity for challenging athletic feats while remaining strong and free from injury.
Tactical Conditioning Specialist
I am trained to prepare the body for the demands of real-world performance. This certification focuses on building strength, endurance, mobility, and resilience for those in physically demanding roles such as military, law enforcement, firefighters, and first responders. The goal is to develop conditioning that goes beyond aesthetics; training the body to be ready, capable, and durable under pressure. With this knowledge, I bring a unique edge to coaching, and am capable of creating programs that emphasize functional strength, injury prevention, and readiness for any challenge life may bring.
Nutritionist
As a certified nutritionist, I have the knowledge and expertise to help clients optimize their nutrition for performance, health, and overall well-being. This certification equips me with a deep understanding of macronutrients, micronutrients, metabolism, and the science behind effective dietary strategies. I specialize in creating personalized nutrition plans that support muscle growth, fat loss, energy balance, and recovery, while also considering individual lifestyles, goals, and dietary preferences. My approach focuses on sustainable habits, education, and behavioral change to ensure long-term success in achieving optimal health and performance.
